My favourite plans often involve a kitchen, a long conversation, and no reason to check the time. I enjoy having people around a table, but I also value an evening with nowhere to be. I enjoy taking a familiar dish and making a small change with a different herb or a new ingredient. I appreciate a little effort, a sincere thank-you, and the ability to laugh when something doesn't go to plan.
