I enjoy trying a recipe that sounds promising and seeing what I would change next time. A welcoming table, an easy conversation, and something simple to share are usually enough for me. I like an evening that leaves everyone feeling welcome, with no pressure to make it a special occasion. I'm warm once I feel comfortable, and I appreciate the same quiet consideration in others.
