I like exploring a place through its food, its small streets, and the places people recommend without making a fuss. I enjoy comparing notes on favourite dishes rather than pretending there is one perfect place for everyone. If the day has been busy, an easy dinner and a chance to talk are usually more appealing than a big event. I appreciate people who are open to a suggestion and comfortable making one of their own.
