I'm happy learning a new recipe, putting together a meal, or spending a quiet evening with a good film. I appreciate practical kindness, like offering to help or remembering how someone takes their tea. I usually choose recipes that leave time for conversation rather than keeping me busy until the last moment. I appreciate people who notice the effort behind a small kindness and offer their own in return.
