Cooking is how I slow down after a busy day. I usually cook with music on and tidy up a little as I go, although baking can undo all my good intentions. I like writing a small note beside a recipe so I remember what worked when I make it again. For me, comfort comes from feeling welcome rather than from having everything arranged perfectly.
