I get a lot of pleasure from small things done with care. I appreciate practical kindness, like offering to help or remembering how someone takes their tea. I am quite happy changing the plan when a recipe needs adjusting or an ingredient is missing. I appreciate a little effort, a sincere thank-you, and the ability to laugh when something doesn't go to plan.
