I make room for creative things even when the rest of the week feels very practical. I enjoy looking closely at ordinary things, especially when someone points out a detail I would have missed. I sometimes make a playlist to remember a particular mood or a stretch of time. I'm happiest when there's room to be sincere, a little playful, and entirely myself.
