I enjoy days that begin with comfortable shoes and a loose idea of somewhere to explore. My plans tend to include a little movement, good food, and enough time to sit down and enjoy where I am. I keep my plans flexible enough to stop for a view or spend longer in a place I like. I'm usually ready to try a different route, especially if there's a good view at the end.
