I like a little energy around me: a busy market, a lively kitchen, or a table full of people talking. I am interested in the little differences that make a familiar recipe taste new. I am happy with a simple meal when it is made with care and there is no rush to move on. I bring plenty of enthusiasm, but I'm just as happy when the evening slows down.
