A relaxed evening with a homemade meal is often exactly what I have been looking forward to. A trip to the market can inspire a whole evening, and I rarely follow a recipe without changing at least one thing. I like slowing down enough to enjoy small routines, from setting the table to making the first cup of the morning. I'm warm once I feel comfortable, and I appreciate the same quiet consideration in others.
