I am happiest with plans that leave enough time to cook, talk, and enjoy being in the same place. I usually cook with music on and tidy up a little as I go, although baking can undo all my good intentions. An evening can be as simple as cooking together and deciding on a film once everything is ready. I appreciate people who notice the effort behind a small kindness and offer their own in return.
