Cooking is how I slow down after a busy day. A welcoming table, an easy conversation, and something simple to share are usually enough for me. I like an evening that leaves everyone feeling welcome, with no pressure to make it a special occasion. The evenings I remember fondly are often the ones that felt simple at the time.
