Some of my best days have started with a simple decision to take the longer way home. I like taking photographs along the way, although I usually remember the weather and the conversation more than the pictures. Even on a busy day, a little time outside helps me find a more comfortable rhythm. A shared sense of wonder can make a very ordinary walk memorable.
