I enjoy the moment when a song, a film, or a piece of art gives me a different way to look at something. Some evenings are for going out to hear something live; others are for cooking at home with an album playing from start to finish. Small venues and relaxed settings often make it easier for me to settle into the experience. For me, a good discovery becomes even better when there is someone to talk about it with.
