I like exploring a place through its food, its small streets, and the places people recommend without making a fuss. I enjoy trying food I haven't cooked before, browsing little independent shops, and finding somewhere with a good atmosphere. A good recommendation from a friend can be enough to give my afternoon a new direction. Good conversation is the part of any meal that I am most likely to remember.
