My idea of a pleasant detour often involves a small bookshop and a place to sit with a coffee. I enjoy stories with complicated characters, walks through unfamiliar streets, and cooking with music on in the background. I would rather give a conversation my attention than keep checking the time. I value kindness, a dry sense of humour, and being comfortable enough to say what you mean.
