I can lose track of time in a library, especially when I find a shelf I have never explored before. I read a mixture of novels, essays, and whatever catches my attention on a second-hand shelf. A thoughtful message can make my day, especially when it refers to something we talked about before. I'm happiest when things feel easy rather than carefully staged.
