A relaxed evening with a homemade meal is often exactly what I have been looking forward to. I like making food to share, trying a recipe more than once, and gradually finding my own way of doing it. I like slowing down enough to enjoy small routines, from setting the table to making the first cup of the morning. I don't confuse a quiet life with a dull one; there are plenty of things to enjoy without rushing.
