I enjoy the comfortable rhythm of a day at home, especially when there is something good cooking. I have a few dependable recipes, but I am always interested in a new idea that does not make the evening complicated. I usually choose recipes that leave time for conversation rather than keeping me busy until the last moment. I don't confuse a quiet life with a dull one; there are plenty of things to enjoy without rushing.
