My idea of a pleasant detour often involves a small bookshop and a place to sit with a coffee. I read a mixture of novels, essays, and whatever catches my attention on a second-hand shelf. A rainy day is a good excuse to make tea and finally open the book I have been saving. I'd rather leave room for a good conversation than fill every silence.
