Some of my best days have started with a simple decision to take the longer way home. I like taking photographs along the way, although I usually remember the weather and the conversation more than the pictures. I am happy to slow down when there is something to notice, from changing leaves to an interesting doorway. The best days leave me with a clear head and a small story to tell.
