I prefer slow mornings, a good novel, and plans that leave a little breathing room. I read a mixture of novels, essays, and whatever catches my attention on a second-hand shelf. I would rather give a conversation my attention than keep checking the time. I appreciate company that leaves room for both conversation and comfortable pauses.
