I am happiest with plans that leave enough time to cook, talk, and enjoy being in the same place. I enjoy a home that feels lived in and comfortable, with room for a little imperfection. I like an evening that leaves everyone feeling welcome, with no pressure to make it a special occasion. I appreciate a little effort, a sincere thank-you, and the ability to laugh when something doesn't go to plan.
