My favourite plans often involve a kitchen, a long conversation, and no reason to check the time. When I have a free afternoon, I like to take my time with a meal and leave the rest of the day uncomplicated. I enjoy having a few people over when there is time to settle in and let the conversation find its own pace. I think thoughtfulness shows up most clearly in everyday habits.
