A small exhibition or an evening of live music can give me plenty to think and talk about afterwards. I often keep a note of a line from a book, the name of a musician, or a place I'd like to visit again. I like asking what caught someone's attention rather than deciding too quickly whether something is good or bad. I don't mind a difference of opinion when there's curiosity on both sides.
