I'm happy learning a new recipe, putting together a meal, or spending a quiet evening with a good film. A trip to the market can inspire a whole evening, and I rarely follow a recipe without changing at least one thing. I enjoy having a few people over when there is time to settle in and let the conversation find its own pace. I appreciate people who notice the effort behind a small kindness and offer their own in return.
