I like a little energy around me: a busy market, a lively kitchen, or a table full of people talking. I enjoy comparing notes on favourite dishes rather than pretending there is one perfect place for everyone. A good recommendation from a friend can be enough to give my afternoon a new direction. For me, a memorable outing does not need to be elaborate; it needs to feel comfortable.
