Music is part of most of my days, whether I am finding something new or returning to an old favourite. I like hearing what other people notice in a film or a painting, even when their view is completely different from mine. I do not need to understand everything immediately to enjoy spending time with something unfamiliar. I like it when sharing an interest feels like an invitation, with no need to agree on everything.
