A quiet café and an interesting conversation can easily turn into my favourite kind of afternoon. I can be reserved at first, but I warm up quickly when a conversation moves beyond the usual small talk. I like making room for a new interest without feeling that I need to become an expert in it. I value kindness, a dry sense of humour, and being comfortable enough to say what you mean.
