I enjoy the kind of day that starts with one plan and ends with a few good discoveries. A simple meal made well often impresses me more than a long menu and a lot of ceremony. A good recommendation from a friend can be enough to give my afternoon a new direction. For me, a memorable outing does not need to be elaborate; it needs to feel comfortable.
