I like a little energy around me: a busy market, a lively kitchen, or a table full of people talking. I like planning enough to get started and leaving the rest open to whatever looks interesting. If the day has been busy, an easy dinner and a chance to talk are usually more appealing than a big event. I make plans because I enjoy them, not because every free hour needs to be filled.
