My favourite plans often involve a kitchen, a long conversation, and no reason to check the time. I like making food to share, trying a recipe more than once, and gradually finding my own way of doing it. A thoughtful meal does not need to be complicated; sometimes the best choice is something familiar made well. I appreciate people who notice the effort behind a small kindness and offer their own in return.
