I notice the small things: a thoughtful message, a beautiful old building, or a song played at the right moment. I enjoy a conversation that wanders from an interesting idea to an ordinary detail of someone's day. I am happy to revisit a favourite place when there is good company and no need to rush. I appreciate company that leaves room for both conversation and comfortable pauses.
