An afternoon exploring a neighbourhood is often my favourite excuse to try somewhere new for lunch. A simple meal made well often impresses me more than a long menu and a lot of ceremony. A good recommendation from a friend can be enough to give my afternoon a new direction. Good conversation is the part of any meal that I am most likely to remember.
