I enjoy trying a recipe that sounds promising and seeing what I would change next time. A trip to the market can inspire a whole evening, and I rarely follow a recipe without changing at least one thing. I enjoy having a few people over when there is time to settle in and let the conversation find its own pace. I enjoy being with people who can make themselves at home while remaining thoughtful about others.
