I am happiest with plans that leave enough time to cook, talk, and enjoy being in the same place. I enjoy the process of preparing a meal as much as sitting down to eat it. On a quiet afternoon, I might make a batch of soup, try a new bake, or tidy a favourite corner. I appreciate a little effort, a sincere thank-you, and the ability to laugh when something doesn't go to plan.
