I enjoy the comfortable rhythm of a day at home, especially when there is something good cooking. I usually cook with music on and tidy up a little as I go, although baking can undo all my good intentions. On a quiet afternoon, I might make a batch of soup, try a new bake, or tidy a favourite corner. A warm manner and a little patience mean a great deal to me.
