I like making ordinary spaces feel welcoming through small, thoughtful touches. I have a few dishes I can make without thinking and plenty more that I'm still trying to get right. I like writing a small note beside a recipe so I remember what worked when I make it again. I appreciate people who notice the effort behind a small kindness and offer their own in return.
