I like getting to know a place through its small cafes, busy markets, and the things people recommend. I like planning enough to get started and leaving the rest open to whatever looks interesting. A good recommendation from a friend can be enough to give my afternoon a new direction. I make plans because I enjoy them, not because every free hour needs to be filled.
