A quiet café and an interesting conversation can easily turn into my favourite kind of afternoon. I read a mixture of novels, essays, and whatever catches my attention on a second-hand shelf. I keep a short reading list, although an unexpected recommendation often changes it. I appreciate people who can be thoughtful without taking themselves too seriously.
