I enjoy days that begin with comfortable shoes and a loose idea of somewhere to explore. I like taking photographs along the way, although I usually remember the weather and the conversation more than the pictures. I am happy to slow down when there is something to notice, from changing leaves to an interesting doorway. I don't need every day to be exciting; I just like feeling that I've made something of it.
