I enjoy days that begin with comfortable shoes and a loose idea of somewhere to explore. A change of scenery helps me think clearly, even when it's only a short trip beyond my usual routine. A flask of something warm and an extra layer are often all I need for a simple afternoon out. For me, good company matters more than reaching the perfect destination.
